Tim Pawlenty introduced the E-20 topic at the Governors conference in May 2008

He is thinking that the state should adopt E-20 by 2013, but there is some bad press about catalytic converter damage with E-20. All the US car companies have said E-20 is not an allowed fuel and will violate their warranties:

In 2004, Pawlenty said he wanted to introduce E-20 to our state by 2010, so we are slipping on his initial schedule:

Remember that Minnesota Ford plant will be shut down soon. Why won't Ford build vehicles that will run on E-20 in that factory and sell them in Minnesota? Other states will join the E-20 band wagon, after the election... Comments?
