I look at fundamentals first: Is the technology sound? Is the product needed and liked? Does the company have proprietary processes and ideas? Can the company work their business plan? Is the stock cheap now? These are all the reasons I buy certain ethanol producer stocks. They are all cheap now, but some of them will never be worth more than they are right now. I have lots of experience, as you can tell from my picture (I am old). I think I never knew as much as I now do and I am convinced the USA is a great country and will be even greater in the future; when our Immigration, Health, Energy and Financial problems are addressed.

FNARX; Fidelity natural resources fund. I made a 40% profit in a year. May not seem like a big win, but I liked the process I used to buy and sell the fund.
